1. Who we are
Captyre.com is operated by Grindhero Ltd.(“Captyre”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Our registered address is H-2463 Tordas, Csillagfürt Lakókert 1/2. For privacy questions, data access requests, correction requests or deletion requests, contact us at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit Captyre.com, create an account, purchase or manage a membership, submit slider or HTML rendering jobs, generate videos, use downloads, use publishing or automation features, contact support, or otherwise interact with Captyre services.
3. Data we collect
We may collect and process the following categories of data:
- Account data: name, email address, username, password hash, login records, account settings and membership status.
- Billing and subscription data: selected plan, subscription state, invoices, payment status, billing identifiers, transaction references and accounting records.
- Rendering content: submitted URLs, slider data, HTML content, uploaded or referenced media assets, job configuration, generated previews, generated videos, logs and related temporary working files.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, diagnostic logs, error logs, security logs and usage events.
- Support data: messages, support requests, screenshots, diagnostics and any information you send us while asking for help.
4. How we use your data
- To create, authenticate and manage your Captyre account.
- To provide membership access and plan-based service limits.
- To process payments, subscriptions, invoices and billing records.
- To render submitted slider, HTML, media and video jobs.
- To provide short-term access to generated previews, downloads and outputs.
- To support retries, debugging, customer support and technical troubleshooting.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, detect fraud and diagnose errors.
- To comply with tax, accounting, legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Temporary rendering content and 72-hour deletion
Captyre is a rendering and automation service, not a permanent file storage service. Files and videos created with Captyre are temporary by design.
Submitted rendering assets, generated previews, generated videos, job files and related working files are automatically deleted within 72 hours. A shorter retention period may apply in some cases. Temporary retention may be extended only where needed to investigate abuse, fraud, service errors, security incidents, chargebacks, legal claims or infrastructure issues.
6. Payment and subscription processing
Captyre uses Stripe to process payments, subscriptions, invoices, billing, fraud prevention and accounting support. Captyre stores customer, membership and subscription information needed to operate your account on Captyre.com.
Stripe may also store and process payment, billing, transaction, invoice, tax, dispute and fraud-prevention information for billing and accounting purposes. Captyre does not need to store full card numbers when Stripe handles payment processing.
7. What happens after membership conclusion
When a customer concludes their membership, Captyre deletes customer account and service records that are no longer needed to operate the service. Billing, invoice, payment, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute or legal records may be retained where required by law, Stripe, accounting rules or legitimate business/legal obligations.
8. Legal bases for processing
- Contract: to create your account, provide memberships, render jobs, deliver outputs and manage subscriptions.
- Legal obligation: to retain invoices, tax, accounting, transaction and compliance records where required.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the service, detect abuse, prevent fraud, diagnose errors, improve reliability and support customers.
- Consent: where optional cookies, optional marketing or optional communications require consent.
9. Data sharing and processors
We share data only where needed to operate Captyre, provide billing, secure the service or comply with legal obligations. This may include:
- Stripe: payment processing, subscriptions, invoices, tax, fraud prevention, disputes and accounting support.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: application hosting, databases, rendering infrastructure, storage, queues, logs and delivery systems.
- Email providers: account emails, service notices, password resets, invoices and support communication.
- Professional advisers or authorities: where required for legal, tax, accounting, security or regulatory reasons.
10. Cookies
Captyre.com may use cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, account security, checkout continuity, membership access, fraud prevention, diagnostics and basic site functionality. Optional analytics or marketing cookies, if used, should be presented through the site’s cookie consent mechanism where required.
11. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect account data, rendering jobs, generated files, billing-related records and service infrastructure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but Captyre reduces long-term content exposure by automatically deleting created rendering content within 72 hours.
12. International processing
Captyre and its service providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards for international transfers.
13. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or export your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact [PRIVACY_EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may be retained where required for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or legal compliance.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, legal requirements or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
